Labour Party member and social critic, Aisha Yesufu, says fifty years of wilderness experience awaits supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Yesufu stated this while reacting to online attacks by some supporters of the opposition PDP on Twitter during the weekend.
Yesufu, in a statement via her verified Twitter handle on Monday, alleged that PDP supporters are “always controlled by their stomachs”.
She claimed that the PDP supporters have a sense of entitlement and always quick to denigrate honest work.
Yesufu’s tweet reads: “PDP supporters will always be controlled by stomach infrastructure and will do things based on what is in it for them. Reason they are quick to denigrate honest work. Worse is their sense of entitlement to Nigerians’ votes. They feel Nigerians owe them. 50 years in the wilderness is loading for them.”
Politics Nigeria observed that some PDP supporters had accused Yesufu of embezzling Labour Party’s campaign funds and failing to account for financial donations received in support of Peter Obi’s 2023 presidency bid.
This led to heated debates between Yesufu and some PDP supporters on Twitter on Sunday, July 9.
