Ambedkar Nagar: The condition of six medical students who were stopped from the examination worsened, tension between the principal and the students – Students Of Government Medical College Fall Ill In Ambedkar Nagar.

The health of six students of Government Medical College, Ambedkar Nagar, who were denied the examination, deteriorated on Monday. He had to be admitted to the emergency. As soon as other students came to know about this, a ruckus started. Shouted slogans by blocking the Banda-Tanda highway.

The students alleged that 46 of them were being debarred from the examination for showing less attendance. This is an act of revenge. It was also alleged that in the past, if the complaint of the college administration was made to the DM, it was also threatened with consequences. At the same time, Principal Dr. Sandeep Kaushik says that only those whose attendance was less, did not get a chance on Monday. Some of these students did not eat food due to stress, hence their health deteriorated. Only the rules of the university are being followed.

The students who blocked the National Highway in front of the Medical College also blocked the main gate on Monday evening. It so happened that the officials who arrived after blocking the highway persuaded them to leave. Citing the interests of the common people, the students left the place but blocked the main gate of the Medical College. There, the students sitting on dharna late in the evening said that arbitrariness and harassment has reached its peak. The atmosphere here will be normal only after the removal of the principal. The dharna of the youth continued at the college gate till late evening.

Students should act with restraint: DM
DM Samuel Paul N has appealed to the students of the Medical College to exercise restraint. Said that the complaints lodged by him in the past have been properly investigated. His statements were also recorded. The detailed report has been sent to the government. Students should show patience. The atmosphere of the college should not be bad at all. The DM assured the students that they would not be allowed to be harassed in any way. The whole situation is being monitored.

SDM Tanda Deepak Verma and CO Santosh Kumar reached the medical college as soon as they got the news of the students falling ill. He went to the emergency ward to inquire about the condition of the students. Earlier, the news had spread on social media that the students of the medical college had consumed poison after being stopped from the examination. When the SDM and CO reached there to confirm this news, it was found that the condition of the students had deteriorated due to depression. The SDM also took statements of other students present there. After this both the officers returned to Tanda. Later, when the road was blocked, he once again reached the Medical College.
