BGMI Masters Series Season 2 (BGMS 2023): All Qualified Teams to Playoffs and Grand Finals

BGMI Masters Series Season 2 has entered its playoffs stage which is set to kick off today. The playoffs are scheduled to take place on August 22 and 23. An overall points table was produced based on the performance of the teams throughout launch week, super weekend one, and super weekend two, with the bottom four teams heading home, the top four teams immediately qualifying for the Grand Finals, and the rest of the teams moving on to the Playoffs(teams that were ranked from 5-20).

Hence, the Playoffs will feature sixteen teams who battle it out across two days in six matches. Depending on the overall leaderboards, only the top 12 will advance to the BGMS Season 2 Grand Finals.

BGMI Masters Series Season 2 Playoffs

BGMS Season 2 has completed three stages: BGMS Season 2 Launch Week, BGMS Season 2 Week 1, and BGMS Season 2 Week 2. So far, there has been plenty of top-tier BGMI action along with some unignorable issues which are now resolved.

This is the final stage before the BGMS Season 2 Grand Finals, with 16 teams competing for 12 berths. These sixteen teams will participate in a total of six matches, three matches per day.

Below is the list of qualified teams for playoffs:

  3. Mecal Esports
  4. Orangutan
  5. Gods Reign
  6. Team 8Bit
  7. Team Soul
  8. Numen Gaming
  9. Entity Gaming
  10. OR Esports
  11. WSB Gaming
  12. Chemin Esports
  13. Team XSpark
  14. Velocity Gaming
  15. Oneblade
  16. Lucknow Giants


Each match will start with an enraged fight on the Erangel map. The second and third games will take place on the Sanhok and Miramar maps, respectively. Each frag in the first zone is worth two points.

  1. Game 1 – Erangel (9:50 PM)
  2. Game 2 – Sanhok (10:30 PM)
  3. Game 3 – Miramar (11:15 PM)

The live broadcast will begin at 9:30 PM IST daily, the same as the previous stage, and will be broadcast live on Star Sports and Rooter. A noteworthy alteration in the devices used by gamers has taken the main stage among the most recent developments. This switch from the OnePlus Nord 3 to the OnePlus 11R is a planned decision by management to solve device and performance concerns previously encountered by players.

Four teams that have qualified for Grand Finals directly include Blind Esports, Team iNSANE, Global Esports and Marcos Gaming as they were the top four teams on the points table.

Gladiators Esports finished fifth overall, just 10 points behind Marcos Gaming. The team had a tremendous run there and will focus on keeping the momentum going in the Playoffs. Enigma Gaming remained consistent throughout the League Stage. Gods Reign, which has former TSM players, had a few bad games but demonstrated their talents and capabilities in the phase before.

Team Soul struggled in the second Super Weekend but finished 11th overall in the League Stage. Entity Gaming, Velocity, WSB, Chemin, Numen and Lucknow Giants among others have made their berth clear in this round.

GodLike Esports, Revenant, Spy, and True Rippers, on the other hand, were unable to sustain their consistency throughout the League Stage and were eliminated from the BGMS. Each of these teams won a reward of Rs 1 lakh.
