Buxar School News: Government-private schools of all classes will remain closed in the district till January 5, date extended due to cold wave

Buxar, Jagran Correspondent, The effect of cold wave has increased in the district since January 1. In view of this, the administration has decided to keep all government and private schools closed for the time being. Taking action on the basis of the instructions of the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, the District Education Officer has issued an order to keep all the schools closed till January 5.

Earlier, by issuing an order on December 29, it was decided to close all the schools on January 30 and 31. After the severe cold on January 1, it has been decided to extend the holiday period. The District Education Officer has said in his order that in view of the continuous falling temperature and cold wave, all government and private, primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in the district will remain closed till January 5. After this, a decision will be taken by the Education Department, looking at the weather conditions.

cold is not likely to subside

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of abating in the cold wave this week. If this forecast turns out to be correct, then the school will likely remain closed even further. However, this order of the Education Department has brought relief to the school children and their parents. However, this order of the Education Department had not reached many schools till evening. Here, many private schools had already declared holiday till January 2 or 3.
