Excitel Big Screen Broadband Plans Offer 400Mbps Speed, OTT Apps, and a TV or Projector: Check Prices
Homegrown internet service provider (ISP) Excitel has announced two new broadband plans for internet users in India. The two plans are called Big Screen TV and Mini Home Theater as they bundle a 32-inch TV and a 210-inch projector respectively. Other added benefits include high-speed internet connectivity, access to various OTT apps, and hundreds of live TV channels.
Excitel Big Screen TV Broadband Plan Details
The Big Screen TV plan is priced at Rs 1,299 per month and offers an impressive internet speed of 400Mbps. As the name indicates, users will also get access to more than 550 live TV channels and 16 OTT apps. These include the likes of SonyLIV, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Discovery, Fancode, Aha, Hungama, and Shemaroo.
The unique thing about the plan is that users will also get a 32-inch Wybor WHS-C9 Smart Frameless HD Cloud TV. It is a smart TV listed for Rs 12,799 on the official Wybor website. It is an Android TV and is said to boot the Android 9.0 operating system version.
Excitel Mini Home Theater Broadband Plan Details
The Mini Home Theater broadband plan from Excitel is identical to the aforementioned plan. The only difference is users will get a projector instead of a smart TV with the bundle. The ISP is offering a 210-inch EGate K9 Pro-Max Automatic Full HD Android projector for a big screen experience. This plan is slightly more expensive than the TV plan and is priced at Rs 1,499 per month.
Excitel says both these broadband plans are available in 35 Indian cities. It is an extension of the Smart TV with Smart WiFi plan that was introduced earlier this year.
The new plans have been introduced just in time for the ongoing Asia Cup cricket tournament and the upcoming Cricket World Cup. As the cricket-crazy nation will be supporting the Indian team in their quest to become Asian and World champions, the broadband company is hoping to attract new customers who would be looking to get a high-speed internet connection and a big screen.
These newly announced Excitel broadband plans join a previously released OTT plan in collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar. That plan was priced at Rs 599 per month for benefits like 400Mbps internet speed, access to 12 OTT apps, and over 550 live TV channels. It allows users to stream content on two devices at the same time.
