The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 and the Surface Go 4 were launched at the Microsoft Surface event yesterday. The newly introduced Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 arrives as a successor to last year’s Surface Laptop Go 2. It features a 12.4-inch touchscreen PixelSense display with 1536 x 1024 pixels resolution. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 12th Gen Core i5 processor which is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB SSD storage. It also has a full-size keyboard and a fingerprint power button. As for the Surface Go 4, it boasts a 10.5-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Furthermore, it also has several connectivity features and an 8MP rear-facing camera.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 comes in Platinum, Sage, Sandstone, and Ice Blue colours. The laptop’s pricing starts at $799.99 (Roughly Rs 66,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs $999.99 (Roughly Rs 83,000). It will be available for purchase in the US starting October 3. The laptop is also listed on the Microsoft India website, which does suggest that its launch is imminent in India. The Surface Go 4 costs $579 (Roughly Rs 48,100) for the base 64GB storage model.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is powered by Intel’s 12th Gen Core i5-1235U processor which is aided with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The laptop packs up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage. It also features a 720p HD camera which has a f/2.0 aperture. The Surface Laptop Go 3 flaunts a 12.4-inch PixelSense display that has a 1536 x 1024 pixel resolution. The display panel has a 3:2 aspect ratio, 148 PPI pixel density, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It also has a full-size keyboard and a precision touchpad that lets you navigate and scroll with ease. The laptop also has Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and dual far-field studio mics. Connectivity-wise, it has several features such as Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, one USB 3.2 port, one USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Surface connect port. The laptop packs a 40Wh battery which is claimed to offer 15 hours of battery life.
Moving onto the specifications of the Surface Go 4, it features a 10.5-inch PixelSense display. The screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Surface Go 4 is powered by an Intel N200 processor which is coupled with Intel UHD graphics. The Surface Go 4 comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage configuration. Furthermore, it features an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2W speaker with Dolby Audio support. Both the front and rear-facing cameras can record 1080p Full HD video. As far as the other key features of the Surface Go 4 go, it has one USB-C 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, one Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover port, a MicroSDXC card reader, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.1 support.
