Mixed reactions have trailed a viral video of comedian, Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond better known as Destalker opening up on his beef with his senior colleague, Basketmouth.
In the interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast, Destalker recounted how Basketmouth paid him back over a 2015 misunderstanding.
Narrating what happened, he disclosed that in 2015, he declined an offer to participate in Basketmouth’s comedy series ‘My Flatmates’.
Destalker said he received a late call from someone asking him to come for an impromptu shoot — which he declined.
The stand-up comedian said the same person called him the following day to ask if he had changed his mind, but he reaffirmed his decision not to participate.
He claimed that following the incident, Basketmouth has struck out his name from high places and all his efforts to reach out to Basketmouth have proved abortive.
“There are senior colleagues that have struck my name out in several ways. One, I don’t like fatherism; I know my enemy. I have been begging Gordons.
Somebody called me one day and asked what I had with Basketmouth; I said nothing. He said, go and beg him. Because something happened in 2015.

Ay Makun opens up on his beef with Basketmouth
Recall that early this year, AY, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo opened up on his long-standing beef with Basketmouth.
He claimed that their beef originated over N30,000 debt, which Basketmouth refused to pay him, and as such the comedian struck his name from some events.
Basketmouth, however, shut down his claims, as he stated that he and AY have never been friends.
