Poco X6 Pro 5G, Poco X6 5G Certified by IMEI; Redmi Note 13 Pro Clears India’s BIS
Kacper Skrzypek, a reliable tipster, hinted that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone in the global markets under the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Poco monikers. The recently debuted Redmi Note 13 Pro smartphone received the BIS certification soon after the device’s launch in China. The global and Indian variants of the forthcoming Poco smartphones have received the IMEI certification.
The IMEI listing of the smartphone reveals that the upcoming Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone will feature the model number 23122PCD1G. The G alphabet letter in the model number denotes the global variant of the device. In related news, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G received India’s BIS certification with the model number 2312DRA50I.
The upcoming Poco smartphone has the codename garnetp instead of garnet, found on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G smartphone. Poco is unlikely to launch the X6 Pro 5G smartphone in India since both smartphones share identical specifications. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek confirmed that the global and Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G will not have any differences.
Redmi Note 13 5G will have the rebrand in China, Redmi Note 13R Pro with 64 Mpx camera. It may be also available globally. India very likely will get both 13 5G and 13R Pro (although IDK the second variant will have the same name as in China)

In contrast, the vanilla Poco X6 5G received the IMEI certification with the model numbers 2312DRAF3G and 2312DRAF3I. Kacper Skrzypek adds that the Poco X6 5G will be a tweaked version of the Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone. The tipster adds that the device will feature a 64MP primary sensor instead of a 108MP primary sensor.
Xiaomi is also tipped to launch the downgraded variant in China under the Redmi Note 13R moniker later. The IMEI listing of the upcoming smartphones suggests that Xiaomi will debut the smartphones by December 2023 in the global and Indian markets.
