“She does too much as a mother-in-law” Fans tackle Junior Pope over his praises on Rita Edochie

Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope has stirred reactions from his fans after he showered praises on his senior colleague, Rita Edochie.

Hours ago, the movie star had shared a video of him linking up with the veteran and sister-in-law of Pete Edochie on movie set as he hailed her for being a good mother-in-law.

Junior Pope stated that Rita Edochie is the type of mother-in-law every lady would love to her.

His post, however, didn’t sit well with many as many expressed their displeasure at how Rita Edochie handled the whole drama between Yul and May.

One Pakry Amina wrote, “She’s doing too much Biko, she’s supposed to call out her son, not Jide cuz the man is the one who decided to leave his wife

One Reno Srezi wrote, “I no wish her type, that her energy could have been used behind the scene. Warri people say, “talk na water, action na blood”. Have she thought that both couple could be reunited again if God willing, that is our prayer. What’s her stand in the family later

One Dzekem Bernadette wrote, “Thank God my mother-in-law can not be like her”.

Recall that after the news of Yul Edochie’s marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin broke out, Rita Edochie had stood solidly behind May Edochie, fighting for her in public.

During Mother’s Day this year, Rita Edochie threw a subtle shade at Judy Austin while celebrating May Edochie.

Rita Edochie hailed her as the only wife of the actor, as she stated that any other wife is counterfeit, seemingly referring to Judy Austin.

In another post, Rita Edochie had dissed Judy after Pete Edochie’s interview distancing himself from her marriage to his son, Yul Edochie.

Resharing the video on her page, she mocked Judy, stating that Yul Edochie hired people from a town in Onitsha to her hometown.

Hailing May Edochie, she described her as a national treasure as she noted how Yul and Judy thought they played her, but they only played themselves.
