Who is Taylor Parker? Texas Mom Killed Friend & Her Unborn Baby Arrested Check Charges & Reports

After murdering her pregnant friend and cutting the fetus from the victim’s womb, a Texas woman is currently on a trial. The woman, who has been identified as Taylor Parker, even faked her pregnancy. On another side, the victim is identified as Regan Simmons-Hancock. The latter was 34 weeks pregnant at the time of her killing. Apart from Regan, her unborn baby daughter Braxyln Sage was also murdered by Taylor. The news has shaken a lot of people to the core and it has become a subject of discussion on social media.

According to reports, the Texas woman pleaded not guilty to capital murder and kidnapping along with non-capital murder in connection with the baby. For those unversed, the horrifying incident happened back in October 2020. Besides, on Monday, September 12, 2022, the trial of the case began. Reports confirm that the accused could face the death penalty or life in prison without parole if she is found guilty and is convicted of capital murder.

Let us add that Taylor stabbed her friend around 100 times and she did that to steal her unborn baby. During the opening of the trial, Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp told the Bowie County jury that Taylor Parker was an actress of the highest order. Kelly revealed that Parker cut out Regan’s baby after stabbing her mother to death with a scalpel and crushing her skull with a hammer. Kelly added that the lies and fraud go on and on and that it started months ago and ended up in homicide.

It was added that the 29-year-old made it appear as if she had given birth after she placed the placenta in her own trousers and that she made it look as if the umbilical cord was still attached. On another side, the baby girl died shortly after being cut from the womb with a scalpel. Reports claim that Parker was stopped by a state trooper at around 9:37 AM when she was seen performing CPR on the infant.

She later took her to the hospital. Authorities have confirmed that Parker faked a pregnancy for 10 months as she was so terrified of losing her boyfriend Wade Griffin. Reagan’s mother found her daughter lying on the ground in a pool of blood and called 911. After being interrogated by the officials, Parker admitted not giving birth to the infant.
